My techniques for creating art quilts are quite different than making bed quilts. When I discovered Jen Kingwell’s Gypsy Wife pattern I was inspired to sharpen the saw, so to speak, to see if I could still create ¼ inch seams and follow pattern directions. Creating this cheerful quilt became my joyful obsession and I have delighted in interpreting traditional quilt blocks employing my sense of color and visual texture.

Because sometimes small things lead to great joys, in both the creation, study and observation.

This eclectic collection is a potpourri of my original designs, including free-form piecing and raw-edge aplique techniques.

A celebration of the feminine essence: authentic, empowered, compassionate, creative, courageous, gentle, loving and connected with her inner-self and others.
